Carl Lee Stinson was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March
21, 1953. Carl was a graduate of Phillips High School and
attended University of Tennessee where he received a football
scholarship. Carl served proudly in the United State Navy. He
also worked as an air traffic controller.
Carl loved God and lived his life full of joy, always quick on
his feet with something funny to make you laugh. Carl loved
his family and was always a giving person.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Darrow Lee and
Eddie Mae Stinson; brother, Bernard Stinson and sister
Darrow Jean Stinson. He leaves to cherish his memories his
loving children; two sons, Carlton E. Stinson, Camryn Stinson;

one stepson Christopher Pressley (Luchaun), three step-
daughters Carol D. Banks (Kindrick), Jacquese Reese and

Jamie Jackson(Chris) three brothers; Larry Stinson (Ann),
Raymond Stinson (Carrie), Gerald L. Stinson (Anita) and one
Sister Yvonne Williams. Fourteen grand children, eight great
grand children, one loving aunt, Annie Grace Stinson and a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
