Obituary

Brian Keith Armstrong was born June 14, 1959, to the late Grover Armstrong and Brenda Molton-Axle. Brian K. Armstrong confessed Christ at an early age and was presently a member of Living Fellowship Baptist Church.


He attended Birmingham City Schools and graduated from Ensley High School in 1977. He attended UAB and Miles College.


He had a lengthy and successful employment history which included Princeton hospital, Stockham Valve, Birmingham City Schools, Serra Toyota Birmingham and Sunny King Toyota. He had an extremely gregarious personality, was very ambitious, had a strong work ethic, loved his family and always cared for the less fortunate.


He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Armstrong; loving dad, Charlie M. Axle; brother, James Williams, Jr; and his granddaughter, Brea McNeal-Williams.

He leaves to mourn his beloved mother, Brenda M. Axle; brother, Rodney Armstrong; sister, Cindy Bell (Arthur); brothers, Yancey Williams Sr. (Tracey) and James Bass (Queen) all of Birmingham; children, Latoya Canon (Michael), Brian Keith Armstrong -Williams, Isaiah Bell, and Brianna Nicole Armstrong and a special friend and companion Valerie Crawford Pressley, special niece Brenda Axle, special nephew James W. Axle; grandchildren Michael Canon III and Jahri Bell; uncles, Vincent (Clementine), Tauheed Ziyad, aunts Gwendolyn Scott, Faye A. Ray, Debbie S. Hasberry, “special aunt” Carolyn Boysaw Fransico and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
