Brenda Joyce
Wiggins
August 18, 1952 – September 19, 2024
Brenda Joyce Wiggins, 72, was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Mr. Roosevelt and Joyce Scott Robinson. She was raised in Ensley, Alabama where she was the oldest of seven children.
She answered her Master's call on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
At an early age, Brenda accepted Christ as her Savior. She has been a faithful and dedicated member of the Palisades Church of Christ for many years.
After graduating Western Olin High School, Brenda attended Southern Jr. College where she studied Office Administration. She also attended Birmingham Bible College where she studied Theology.
For several years, Brenda worked as a Senior Administrator for Secor Bank (now Regions). Her attention to detail was most noticeable and commended by her co-workers and leadership.
Brenda also had a passion and a keen eye for interior design/decor. In the late 1990s, she vested in her new business venture by creating new looks for homes and office interiors.
Although Brenda was serious about her work, she was also one of the funniest people you will ever meet. Her ability to take any conversation and find an opportunity to make you laugh was remarkable.
In 1999, Brenda married the love of her life, Eddie Wiggins. From the first time they laid eyes on one another, they knew they would be together for the rest of their lives. Their union was blessed and covered by God throughout their entire marriage.
A lifetime of memories will be cherished by: her loving husband, Eddie Wiggins; daughter, Joyce "Vette" Young-Turner (Kelvin "Ray"); sons, Roosevelt "Bobby" Young (Michelle) and Larry W. Young Jr.; grandchildren, Keenan, KarLee, Cortne', Ke'Vun, Khiry, Kameron, Deidra, Jazmyne, Jeremiah; brothers, Willie Joe Barber, David R.
