On July 6, 2016 Our Heavenly Father called home a strong, determined, beautiful angel - Bettye Joyce T. Patton. She was a gift from God - born through the union of her late parents Calvin & Mamie Louise Tabb on March 19th, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mount Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor A.C. Poole.

She exceeded the high standards expected by the company and continued to develop her skills in Administration, Medical coverage, Supervising and the training of employees. Bettye retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after 34 years and 8 months. During this time she met and married Sylvester D. Patton.

The marriage union of Bettye and Sylvester would not produce any children, however Bettye would gain the love and respect of Sylvester's two daughters: Sonya Copeland, Rondalyn Robinson and their children.
