Mr. Arthur Mack Allen Jr.'s Obituary
Arthur Mack Allen, Jr., was born on June 28, 1976,
in Birmingham, Alabama, to parents Arthur Mack Allen, Sr.,
and Wanda Faye Allen. He was lifted above silently by our
Lord peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Magnolia Ridge
Nursing Facility.
Arthur was a kind person who had an infectious smile. He
would light up a room when he entered. He was a respectful
young man always. Arthur would extend help to anyone in his
community who needed it with any chores or tasks. Family was
key to him in life. He loved everyone unconditionally.
Arthur was a graduate of Phillips High School, class of 1995, in
Birmingham, Alabama.
He leaves with loving memories: his parents, Arthur Mack
Allen, Sr., and Wanda Allen; two sons, Arthur Allen III, and
Joshua Carroll; one sister, Alisha Allen; one brother, Demetrice
Allen (Georgette); three nephews and five nieces; five aunts,
Minister Angela Taylor of Chesapeake, VA, Larchetta Russell
(James), Marchelle Anderson, Brenda Williams and Wanda
Jennings (Cole), all of Birmingham, Alabama; one uncle, Kelvin
Cheatham (Brittney) of Birmingham, Alabama; and half-uncles
and aunts, Edith Harris, Teresa Jenkins (Cleveland), David
Harris (Vicky), and Leroy Harris, all of Birmingham, Alabama.
He also leaves to carry his expressions a host of other relatives,
friends, and neighbors whom he loved compassionately.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hattie "Louise"
Cheatham (Theodore), JB Meadows, Lucille Allen, and
Nathaniel Allen; two aunts, Julie Mae Allen and Dorothy Jean
Allen; and three uncles, Samuel Allen, Nathaniel Allen, and
Shirman Allen.
A special thanks to the doctors and staff at St. Vincent's,
Birmingham, and Magnolia Ridge Nursing Facility, for the care
given during this transition to eternal life. In addition, thanks
to all who took time to go the extra mile and show how much
you loved and cared for Arthur during this time. You will always
be blessed in our hearts as well as continually blessed by God.
