Mr. Anthony "Buddy" Henley, 63, transitioned to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Mr. Henley was a loving son, devoted father, cherished brother and friend. Born on March 7, 1955, in Birmingham, AL, he was the son of Callie S. Henley and the late William C. Henley, Jr. He was retired from Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in Lincoln AL. He leaves to cherish memories: his mother, Callie S. Henley, his daughter, Tonisha (Marcus) Oliver; two sons, Anthony Keith Jones Jr. and Demetrius Jones; nine sisters, Cheryl (Charles) Miles, Barbara Kemp, Dorothy (Cecil) Gray, Mona (Errol) King, Elaine Henley, Jane (Yul) Crawford, Bonita (Jonathan) Mostilla, Pamela (Myford) Little, Angela (P. Ronald) Wilder; two brothers, Victor Henley and Timothy Henley; two grandchildren Kwentin and Kion Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Anthony is known for his selfless compassion, community service, generosity, and missionary work. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 13th.The homegoing celebration will be Saturday, April 14th at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
