Annie Frazier was born in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late John and Annie Ruth Williamson. She was married to John L. Frazier for 40 years.
She accepted Christ at an early age and later united with Seventh Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Raymond McDonald and Reverend Kirsti Kimble. She served as a member of the Deaconess and Usher Boards until her health began to fail.
Annie was educated in the Birmingham public school system and attended Ullman High School. Annie was employed at Carraway Methodist Medical Center and at Brookwood Medical Center for 19 years. She retired after more than 20 years of service.
On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, she transitioned to be with her Lord and Savior. Annie was preceded in death by her sister, Sallie Jean LaSane; brothers, Matthew and John Williamson; daughter, LaRita Hardy; and grandson, Demetrius Hardy.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her three children, Constance Mitchell of Birmingham, AL, Katrina Frazier Stevens of Atlanta, GA, and Cedric Mitchell (Shirley) of Moreno Valley, CA; stepdaughter, Jonetta Renee Frazier of Birmingham, AL; twelve grandchildren, Anthony (Danita),
Devante, Tanika (John), Bryce (Anna), Alex (Ronald), Brandon (Dawn), Imari, DeJohn, Alan (Crystal), Joshua, Matthew, and Nicholas; eighteen great-grandchildren, LeJanelle, Bradell, Amia, Elise, Elijah, Erica, Dasan, John (JT), Andrew, Aubrey, Jordan, Russell, Aurora, Peyton, Shayla, Khaleb, Khaden, and Mariah; four sisters-in-law, Leeanna Williamson of San Bernardino, CA, Betty Jean Smith of Los Angeles, CA, and Louise Morris and Barbara Ann Evans, both of Birmingham, AL; niece, Adrienne; two nephews, John and Ervin Jr.; dearest friend, Melvina Reese; and a host of other relatives and friends.
