Alice Geneva Lee was born on July 6,1947 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Allie J. Ware and Robert Lee.
She attended Brunette C. Hill Elementary School. She also attended A.H. Parker High School and was a graduate of class of 1965.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized under the pastoral ship of Rev. Samuel Pettagrue. She loved the Lord with all her heart and later she joined Trinity Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. John E. King Jr.
Alice always had a love for hair and beauty, and she decided to attend Cosmetology school. Alice went on to become a Cosmetologist for nearly 30 years. She was known for doing hair and spreading the gospel to whomever she met. She later attended Lawson State College majoring in Business Administration. Alice started substituting for the Birmingham City Schools after her cosmetology years.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Adelbert Mosley and LTC. Orlando Walker (Army).
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted son Kenneth Lee of Blythewood, SC; two loving brothers: Eugene Walker and George Walker , both of Birmingham, AL; a loving sister Melanie Diane Walker of Birmingham, AL; 7 loving nieces: Kirstie (Robert) Mosley White of Blythewood, SC, Tamika Walker-Bright, Torria (Gerard) Walker Frye, Tanaye (Lewis) Walker Heard, Tamila Walker, Regina (Jonathon) Walker Price and Unikwaa Conner; 4 nephews: Adelbert K. Mosley of Blythewood, SC, Alexander Conner, LeKevin Samuels, and Terrell (Kenyata) Avery, all of Birmingham, AL; and a host of friends and acquaintances.
