Obituary

Mrs. Aleene D. Crawford was born August 4, 1926, to Mrs. Mary Anna Bradford and Mr. Walter Dunn in Hanover, AL. She married Deacon Jessie C. Crawford, who preceded her in death, on November 27, 1949. She later joined Beulah Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her health declined. She served as a Deaconess. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons: Jesse James Leonard, Kenneth H. Crawford and Stanley B. Crawford (Valerie); daughters, Mary L. Curtis, Clarice C. Dukes and Cheryl C. Yarbrough. Grandchildren: Sonja D. Curtis, Alicia T. Curtis, Kenethia Jordan, Lauren Stewart, Stanley J. Crawford, Darrell A. Crawford, Christopher L. Yarbrough and Charles B. Yarbrough, Jr.; Great-grandchildren: Carlos M. Chaverst, Jr. (Memri), Gabryelle S. Curtis, Nicholas Curtis, Joshua Smith, Amber Rivers, Zamir Jordan, Zakiya Wren, and Justin Stewart; Great great-grandchildren: Ava Powell, Luca Powell and Prince Carlos Montez Marshall Chaverst, III and a host of relatives and friends.
