Albert Raymond Ross, Jr. was born to Albert Raymond and Maryland Sullivan Ross on January 29, 1942, in Birmingham, AL. He was a proud graduate of A.H. Parker High School, Class of Fall 1959. After graduation, he attended Wilberforce University.

May 12, 1961, he married his beloved and devoted wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Keenan, who remained UNCONDITIONALLY by his side until his death. Albert and Patricia had two children born from this union, Katrina and Albert Raymond, III. Albert was also the proud father of Nilesha Gail Givens.

Albert enlisted in the United States Air Force in March, 1961 where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Upon his return to Birmingham, AL, Albert worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over ten years. However, he really enjoyed selling insurance and remain in that position until he retired.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. He was summoned home on Monday, March 13, 2023.

To honor and cherish his memory, he leaves a wife, Patricia; a daughter, Katrina Ross McClendon (Gary); a son, Albert Raymond Ross, (Angela); a daughter, Nilesha Givens-Moore; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
